Abstract

Ideally, halalpreneurship should be viewed as a form of entrepreneurship that integrates creativity, innovation, and economic sustainability with the ethical values of Islamic business, such as honesty, justice, trustworthiness (amanah), and social responsibility. However, in reality, halalpreneurship practices in the era of the creative economy still face various challenges, including low levels of Islamic ethical literacy among business actors, a lack of understanding of halal principles within creative production chains, and the dominance of profit-oriented motives that often neglect spiritual and social dimensions. This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic business ethics values in halalpreneurship practices within the creative economy sector, as well as to explore the fundamental differences between conventional entrepreneurship and halal entrepreneurship in terms of orientation, business processes, and social impact. This article is categorized as library research employing a qualitative approach. The methodology used is descriptive analytical study. The findings indicate that the application of Islamic business ethics in halalpreneurship plays a crucial role in creating a balance between innovation and economic blessing (barakah). Furthermore, it is found that halalpreneurs who consistently apply sharia principles tend to achieve more stable business sustainability and stronger consumer trust. Therefore, strengthening halal literacy, regulatory support, and inter-institutional collaboration are key factors in building a competitive and socially just halalpreneurship ecosystem.
